I drew this guy back in high school and decided to make him three-dimensional.
My buddy created a piece of 2D art and I used it as a challenge to make it in 3D.
This was my first attempt at photorealism. I spent a ridiculous amount of time on the details, all the way down to the sprinkles that fell on the table.
And then I had a little fun with it by making an "UP" version.
After discovering I can turn things I made on the computer into real-life objects using 3D printing, the next logical step was to turn real-life things into fake, computer ones using Blender. I've been exploring different styles, from photorealism to low-poly.
